AGMPM is the official association of Greek companies manufacturing packaging materials. AGMPM was created in 1999 by the major Greek manufacturers of packaging materials from paper, plastic, glass, metal, wood and cork. It is a non profit organisation involved in improving industry's image and contributing in professional training, monitoring quality, assessing environmental matters and related legislation.
DESCRIPTION
AGMPM is representing one of the most dynamic areas of the Greek economy. Members of the Association come from every category of packaging, including paper/board, glass, plastic, aluminium, steel, flexible packaging, wood , fibers and other materials. The Association houses also companies offering services in packaging designing, testing, and consulting.
AGMPM was established in 1999 with its primary target being the promotion of the potential of Greek packaging manufactures. According to a study underway sponsored by the Association, the manufacturing turnover in packaging materials is approaching the two billion Euro. Greek packaging materials are exported to almost every part of the world and Greek companies are establishing manufacturing affiliates in many other countries. Greek packaging manufacturers could be the spearhead of European industry in promoting its commercial and manufacturing activities in Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
