Istituto Quasar was founded in Rome in 1987 as a Research centre, Training and Communication that operates in the field of the Learning and Projection, Planning and Design of the environment, promoting study and spreading some the knowledge through Exhibitions, Conferences, Round Tables, Publications, Courses and other initiatives.

DIDACTIC ACTIVITIES

Formation practised from the Istituto Quasar combines the direct contact with the professional reality to sound theoretical foundations so that to guarantee to the trainees, at the end of the didactic cycle, better opportunities to perform solo or in public and private sectors. For this purpose the school is set as trade union between the trainees and the occupational world providing the the interested firms the nominative of the diploma recipient.

The courses that the Istituto Quasar proposes follow double strategy to stimulate in the students the orientation toward the spaces offered by the new professions and are accented, contained, creative and technological, together so as to tension the recovery and the rediscovery of arts and very prestigious traditional works in the past in Italy and that today they find renewed interest and a new market.

To maintain efficient and proficient didactic results, Istituto Quasar has made it it's objective that the enrolment to each class is closed to a number of students, in this way guaranteeing a continuous contact between the student and the peers, and that the minimum attendance is kept at 90% for all lessons, in this way guaranteeing the educational growth of each student.

The everyday didactic method to all the courses includes a verification in the field and is learned, through the activities of laboratory, through on-site visits at construction sites, industries, commercial sites, shows, exhibitions, conferences, museums, private collections, historical places, trips of study, in accordance to the formula of school-studio.
